Hibiya Blossom 2025 is a themed event whose central concept is "Art & Flowers" and during which Hibiya Step Square and Hibiya Nakadori Street will be decorated with colorful flowers and art, allowing visitors to experience the arrival of spring in the district of Hibiya.

“WICKED”
The main event of Hibiya Blossom 2025, “WICKED”, presents Flower Dome, is a stunningly colorful flower dome made with over 15,000 artificial flowers to represent the world of the Movie “WICKED”.
Dome exterior
decorated in green and pink
The design of the Flower Dome’s exterior resorts to eye-catching and vivid color contrasts, mainly green and pink, the signature colors of the movie's main characters (the Wicked Witch Elphaba and Glinda the Good), to recreate the world of the movie.

The interior of the dome is a colorful floral world. Step inside the dome to experience a sense of immersion in another world and enjoy the stunning chromatic charm unique to artificial flowers.
Light up and special
performances at night!
At night, the contrast between green and pink is further enhanced with the help of wondrous lighting effects. And that’s not all; along with the lighting effects, once every 10 minutes, visitors will be able to enjoy special performances timed to the songs "Defying Gravity" and "Popular" from the movie “WICKED”.

The large staircase area next to the dome is completely covered in different varieties of flowers, turning it into a photogenic spot conjuring up an otherworldly feeling.

Turning
"elements of everyday scenery"
into a photogenic art space

In the area around Hibiya Nakadori street, streetlamps, benches and other elements will be decorated with floral art and renamed “Botanical Street.”
“Elements of everyday scenery” that are usually buried in the urban background, become works of floral art and are transformed into a photogenic space that will encourage visitors to take pictures.

He currently heads Shichigatsu Kadan Flower Studio.After studying under world-famous flower artists, he set off on his own. Since 2021 he has been active in the fashion and luxury sectors, working on decorative arrangements for high-end brands and shooting commercials. Shichigatsu Kadan Flower Studio is committed to reducing flower waste and specializes in hybrid designs combining fresh and artificial flowers that incorporate the creative re-use of discarded plants and recycled materials.

Artificial flower
As part of our sustainable initiatives, flowers used for the floral arrangements are reusable artificial flowers. Furthermore, some of the artificial flowers are made from recycled materials such as recycled PET plastic bottles and recycled plastics, as a nod to environmentally conscious initiatives.
